Installation:
Bluetwo IT Solutions is instructed by WBS to install the modem at a fee agreed to by both Bluetwo and the Client which is currently set at R300.00 incl. VAT by Bluetwo and is subject to change without notice. This Fee is non-refundable in the case of any cancellations of contracts.
Should the Client wish to forego this fee, Bluetwo takes absolutely NO responsibility for the correct installation of the modem by the client and, if done incorrectly, Bluetwo takes no liability for the modem if it is damaged in the process.
Should the client request Bluetwo to correctly install the modem after they have attempted to do so themselves and failed,
the FULL call out fee of R300.00 incl. VAT (Subject to change without notice) will be incurred by the client to Bluetwo.
Internet & Data Security:
iBurst is a broadband system and is therefore subject to higher risk of attacks by internet viruses and/or Spyware and malicious software programs. Bluetwo IT Solutions takes absolutely NO responsibility for the Clients Computer and/or Software and Data should they have an iBurst modem installed on their Computer that does not have a decent antivirus and antispyware program installed on it. Bluetwo IT Solutions employees are trained to inform the client of the dangers of not having an internet security package and should the client still wish to install without these programs Bluetwo IT cannot be held liable for the consequences. (Please Note: Bluetwo IT Solutions does NOT support the use of Symantec (Norton's) nor AVG.)
Bluetwo recommends BitDefender Antivirus Software and Microsoft AntiSpyware and fully supports these products.
(Please Note it is ESSENTIAL that you have a – Antivirus program, a Firewall and an Antispyware on Broadband.)
Operating Systems:
Windows:
Bluetwo IT Solutions is a Windows Based Company, and such can only support Windows OS based machines.
This also applies to certain series of Windows. Bluetwo Will NOT support or install any iBurst hardware or software on Windows 95, 98 or ME editions. If the client insist that Bluetwo install iBurst to a machine running those series of windows, Bluetwo takes absolutely NO liability whatsoever should any unforeseen problem happen to occur to the clients machine.
iMac:
Bluetwo will ONLY install on an iMac that is running OS X – Jaguar, Panther & Tiger. This is also limited to installing your iBurst with the Ethernet cable ONLY. As this OS is not a focus of our business we accept NO liability should ANYTHING occur i.e.: loss of settings, data, malfunctions or more etc. As Bluetwo is NOT an iMac support company we take NO liability for any and all costs that may occur to the Client should the client need an iMac technician to correct any of the problems that may arise due to the installation of iBurst onto their machine.
Linux:
Bluetwo does NOT support Machines operating on Linux platforms in ANY way and will not install iBurst on a Linux machine or Server. Bluetwo will not install, do maintenance on, or repair a Linux machine.
Networking:
Bluetwo IT Solutions is NOT a networking company for WBS and will NOT connect iBurst to your Network on the iBurst call out price. Bluetwo will correctly install the iBurst Modem to 1 (one) Computer and make it function correctly. It is the clients onus to get either their in-house technician or a 3rd party specializing in Networks to Network iBurst onto their system. Bluetwo will only network iBurst to your network (LAN) at the full call out and labour charge for this service.
Optimization:
Bluetwo IT Solutions can optimize the settings for clients should they so request. This is done at the time of the call out and is a once-off setting. Thereafter it is the clients' responsibility to monitor and should any complications arise it is the clients responsibility to restore. (This option is recommended for advanced users only.)
Cash On Delivery:
Bluetwo IT Solutions is a CASH ON DELIVERY company and all invoices are deemed payable on presentation.
All iBurst invoices presented to the client upon installation must be paid immediately by Cash, Cheque or EFT in the presence of the technician.
No exceptions. E&OE. This form is subject to update or change without notice. It is up to the client to make sure that he/she is familiar with this form or any other available on the Bluetwo Website.
